News Publisher, the automated press release submission software by Soft Solutions

I have tried a few Press Release Posting Programs, including PressBot and BackLink Syndicator, and I like News Publisher by Soft Solutions Limited the best.

Yes, it is a subscription software program ($19.99/month), but since I am posting two dozen press releases each month for clients, plus press releases for my vitamin store, and my affiliate marketing sites, this is a terrific time saver. If you are posting press releases on a regular basis, I recommend this software to save you valuable time.

Benefits:

Saves Time: News Publisher successfully posts a press release to two to three dozen press release web sites in about thirty minutes. Doing this manually would take several hours. This program is one method to automate some of your search engine optimization and public relations activities.

Reporting: News Publisher generates a Submission Report allowing you to keep track of where a press release was and was not posted. If you are posting the press release for a client, you can supply the client this report as a PDF or HTML file.

Anchor Text: The program supports creating one anchor text link (cickable text link) on those press release submission websites that allow it. A press release with well planned anchor text creation supports search engine optimization (SEO).

Everyone,

I just downloaded version 12.19.2014 of News Publisher. I do not know what has changed. I did see some sites that are no longer accepting press releases still in the list of sites to post to. When I learn more, I will post an update.

Thanks, Wayne

Everyone, I posted a press release with version 11.24.2014 of News Publisher. Unfortunately, I did not find any fixes. I am disappointed. If I ever hear anything from the programmer, I will write a new post. Thanks, Wayne

Everyone, I just got a new version of News Publisher, version 11.24.2014. I do not yet know what is in the release. Hopefully, many items have been fixed. I have not received any information from the programmer, but I did receive a request to chat. I am not sure what that is about. I will be posting a press release shortly, I will let everyone know what i discover. Thanks, Wayne

Everyone,

I posted a press release with the test version (8.18.2014) of News Publisher.

After installing and starting the software, I was forced to re-register the software. I am not sure why. I reported this back to the programmer. I have not heard back yet about what the problem is or when it will be fixed.

There was one site that still needs to be removed from the posting process. When you attempt to access the site, you get redirected to another site which is not a press release site. I reported this to the programmer.

There were two sites that News Publisher reported that it posted to but did not because it failed to solve the CAPTCHA. This has been reported to the programmer.

There was another site were News Publisher failed to post to, but reported it did. The site posted a warning box about one of the fields not being filled in. This has been reported to the programmer.

I have not heard back from the programmer when any of these items will be fixed.

Thanks, Wayne

Everyone,

I just got a new test version of News Publisher, version 8.18.2014. It is supposed to have some of the dead sites removed from the posting list. I have a press release to post so I will have some results soon. Not sure if the removal of the dead sites is the only change. When I know more about the change I will do another post.

Thanks, Wayne

Everyone,

Today I got a new version of News Publisher, version 4.26.2014. It was a surprise because the programmer told me he was going to discontinue being in the software business. I am not sure what happened, but maybe he changed his mind. So far, the only change I noticed so far was anyrelease.com being removed from the list of press release submission sites. Anyrelease.com was an expired domain up until recently. Now it can be found by web browsers, but has a blank web / home page.

News Publisher still has some dead sites to be removed. I will send a fresh list to the programmer and see what I can find out.

When I have more information, I will post it here.

Thanks, Wayne

Everyone,

Today, St. Patrick's Day, 2014, I received a new version of News Publisher. The programmer was to send me a list of changes for this version, but i have not received them yet. I am hoping they removed the dead sites and completed the implementation of other sites. I currently do not have any press releases to post for clients, so I will need to complete some projects so I have some news to write a press release for to test this version. When I receive the list of changes, or have some results from testing, I will post another update.

Thanks, Wayne

Everyone,

It looks like press release submission site anyrelease.com has gone out of business. When I go to the site, I get a page from GoDaddy about the domain having expired. Time to look for a replacement site.

Thanks, Wayne

Everyone, Today, I got a new version of News Publisher (version 2/11/2014). Based on the information I got from the support person, most of the changes are related to fixing bugs related to registering an account on press release submission websites. If I find anything different, I will let you know. Thanks, Wayne

Everyone,

I was posting a press release for a client, and found two items to report. The press release site seenation.com is now up and working again. Please note that News Publisher still has the problem of creating a press release without the press release body, but at least you can go back and manually correct the posting. Second, exactrelease.com is under going some maintenance, the page for posting press releases indicates it should be available again in a few hours. Hopefully, it will be a short few hours.

Thanks, Wayne
